Tabley Mere Bankside Fishing.
Just a reminder to all that you should not start fishing Tabley Mere from the banks until an announcement is made on the website.
Some members appear to be under the impression that the banks will be open from January 1st but an opening date has yet to be confirmed.

Founders Pool Closure.
Founders Pool will be closed on the weekend of Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th February 2010. This is for essential water maintenace work to be carried out. LAC committee apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. |

 Magical Mystery
I was awakened by soft rain fall and the lullaby of birds soaring from above, the lakes residents was singing songs of praise a sound I have heard so many times in the past but a sound that never tires in my mind, the light was just breaking and as I peered from the bivvy the sounds of the birds and wildlife sounded like they had just woken from a deep sleep, there soft songs of voice made me realise that I was fishing...........
