Tabley Mere Bankside Fishing Announcement.
Dear Members,
We must now announce, sadly, that our plans to fish Tabley Mere from the bank have been revoked.
Please see the correspondence received, below:-
"The matter of bank fishing at Tabley has now become of serious interest to The Crown Estate with a letter being written by a local MP to the Chairman of the Crown Estate. "
On this basis we will be taking the following action:-
1. The consent to extend fishing in my e-mail dated 7th January 2010 is null and void on the basis that the consent from Natural England has been rescinded.
I would like to offer my personal apologies for this unfortunate situation which is totally out of our control. I have challenged the decision and it appears highly unlikely to be overturned.
Fishing on the Moat is unaffected

 Magical Mystery
I was awakened by soft rain fall and the lullaby of birds soaring from above, the lakes residents was singing songs of praise a sound I have heard so many times in the past but a sound that never tires in my mind, the light was just breaking and as I peered from the bivvy the sounds of the birds and wildlife sounded like they had just woken from a deep sleep, there soft songs of voice made me realise that I was fishing...........
