Welcome to Lymm Anglers
Lymm Angling Club is one of the premier angling clubs in the UK. Based in the north-west of England, it has a variety of waters that cater for specimen, pleasure and match anglers alike. Whether it's a still-water filled with carp or mixed coarse fish, specialist water with a small head of specimen sized fish or a river teaming with Barbel, grayling, chub or trout, Lymm Angling Club has waters for you.
Catering for anglers ranging from juniors through to pensioners, the club's goal is to provide as many fishing waters as possible for its members whilst at the same time maintaining high standards, both in terms of the fisheries it supports and the members themselves. Each water is looked after by its own Water Keeper and, to assist with fishery management, arrival slips and catch returns must be completed by members at all still waters. The club also actively manages its waters with wildlife conservation in mind via habitat construction, tree planting, bird boxes, etc.
Night fishing is allowed on most waters and requires NO overstamp with the introduction of the new membership fee's coming into effect from January 2009. Also included in the price is the option to be able to take a spouse or partner and two children.
Club membership year runs from January to December, although current permits are valid until the 31st March 2009.
Selected waters are closed for a specified period each year except to those members who either complete a set amount of hours on approved work party tasks or who pay for a work party exemption stamp.
We trust this information gives you an insight and hope you join us and enjoy many pleasant hours on our waters.
